Statement
“I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and I can change that (poverty). It depends upon how hard I want to work, and I decided that I would change it.”
Dr. Ben Carson
Reflection:
What this quote is saying that its up to you weather you want to change or not. That even though you are the poorest of them all as long as you work hard for your things, you will succeed in life. I agree with this quote if you do not do anything to change to become a better person you will never be something good in life. You must work for the things you want and not just sit around doing nothing. “I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and I can change that (poverty). It depends upon how hard I want to work, and I decided that I would change it.”
